On a personal note...

By the time I was 14 years old I had lived in six states, Japan and Italy. My parents used to joke that they could drop me off in the middle of a city and I would make it home with five dollars and a friend. They also routinely said things like “do it right the first time or you’ll do it again” and “do the right thing, even when no one is watching.” These are ideals that I have carried with me throughout my life.

A few years ago, sitting in a kayak on Lake Tahoe, I was contemplating the meaning of life with a friend when I came to the conclusion that everything I really cared about could be broken down into three main ideas - Relationships, Experiences & Impact. Now I know these are broad terms and I could go on a rant about what each means to me personally but I would rather you come to your own conclusions. Just know that they run deep and really encompass who I am and what I strive to create in this life, both professionally and personally. In my free time I love gardening and crafting at home, being an active member of the community, backpacking in the wilderness and traveling to new destinations.
